If you leave your Schmidt-Cassegrain outside all year, you’ll want to be able to quickly cover it up after observing. The T311/365 from Telegizmos is a cover for a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope from 8 to 11 inches in diameter and belongs to the 365 series, intended for telescopes that stay outside all the time. You cover it up after the session and remove the cover when it gets light.
Think of an 8 inch SCT like the Celestron C8 on an Advanced VX, Up to 11 inches. The cover covers a range of sizes, so measure your own setup.
Measure your setup including the viewfinder, dew cap and accessories. Place the dust cap on the corrector plate before you put the cover over it. If dew has gotten on your telescope, let it dry first. To limit dew during observation, you can find dew caps and dew bands at our stuff against dew.
For adjusting the catch mirror by hand there are adjustment screws for an 11 inch SCT. Make sure you know which thread your telescope has.
