Optolong H-alpha narrowband filter 3 nm 36 mm for night photography, no sun filter

Many emission nebulae, such as the North American Nebula, the Rosette Nebula, and the area around Sadr, glow strongly in the hydrogen red line. The Optolong H-alpha 3 nm only shows a narrow band around that line. This keeps a lot of light pollution and moonlight out of your image.

This 36 mm version is intended for a filter wheel with a monochrome camera. If you want all three lines for the Hubble palette immediately, then there is The 3 nm SHO set in 36 mm.

Check that the filter wheel fits this size and that it matches the sensor size of your camera and your optics. Note: This is a filter for neofoto photography and not a sun filter. Make sure you never photograph into the sun with it. That only works with a complete, correct sun filter setup, such as an H-alpha solar telescope from category of solar telescopes.
