Viewing an insect, a stone or a postage stamp up close is difficult if you have to hold the viewer steady by hand. With this stand, you use your Vixen monocular as a microscope: the viewer is fixed above the subject and your hands are free.
The standard is intended for the Vixen multifunctional monocular, such as the Multi Monocular H 6×16. The distance from the subject remains the same, allowing you to focus calmly. However, check that the multi-function model is monocular.
Lay the subject on a light surface and ensure there is light from the side; then you will see the structure best. For children, it is an easy way to explore, just like many of us Educational toys for children.
