No matter how carefully you clean your camera and filters, a few particles are always visible in a stretched image. With the DayStar flat cap FC150, you can create flat frames: shots of a uniformly lit surface through your own optics. Stacksoftware uses those flats to account for vignetting and the shadows of particles on your sensor and filters.
Measure the outer diameter of the front of your tube or snorkel and check if the FC150 fits there. If you are unsure about a size, compare it with the flat cap FC140 or the flat cap FC154.
