FC110 flat cap for flat frames in astrophotography | DayStar

You photographed a clear night, but when you zoom in, dust donuts and dark corners become visible. The DayStar flat cap FC110 helps you solve that problem. You attach it to the front of your telescope to create flat frames: shots of a uniformly illuminated flat surface that allow you to remove dust and dark edges from your astro photos using software.

A flat cap comes on the front of the tube or mist cap, for example from one of our Single refractometer tubes. Measure the outer diameter and compare it with the specified size before ordering. A size in the same range is the flat cap FC100.
