Small refractors are often taken on for a quick session or on a trip, and that's when you don't want to stop halfway because of mist. This Astrozap mist band for a 3-inch telescope keeps the lens free from moisture.
The band is intended for an opening of 3 inches, approximately 76 mm, as is the case with many small Refracting telescopes. You place it on the front of the tube, at the height of the lens.
Connect the hose to a rain regulator, for example the two-channel controller, and check that the plug fits. Preferably combine the band with a fog cap: the cap slows down the cooling process, the band does the rest. Set the regulator to low, because too much heat creates air turbulence for the lens.
If your telescope is slightly larger, then look at The band for 4 inch telescopes.
