Omegon Converter Cable 5 - 12 V - Turn your power bank into a telescoping power supply
With the Omegon Converter Cable 5 - 12 V, you can easily power your telescope wherever you are. You plug the cable into an ordinary USB power bank and instantly get the 12 volts needed by many small GoTo mounts. This allows you to observe longer without an outlet, ideal for the garden or a dark location.
Simple, compact and always at hand
The cable is only 80 cm long. That's just enough to put your power bank close to your mount, with no loose cables or fuss. Everything stays neat and organized, so you can concentrate on observing instead of power.

Suitable for lightweight GoTo mounts
This converter cable delivers 600 mA at 12 V, which is perfect for small GoTo systems. Think compact azimuthal mounts that require little power. This keeps your telescope tracking and aligning reliably, as long as the load remains light.
Broad compatibility
The 12 V plug fits most common mounts. You connect it directly without adapters. Be careful with Meade mounts though, they use a different connector. For most other brands, you'll be fine.
What to consider
A power bank is not infinite. When used with a small telescope, it usually lasts a few hours. That's enough for a short to medium observing session. The power bank itself is not included, so you can choose what suits you best.
