Sky-Watcher 2.5 mm Planetary UWA: the ultimate magnification for short tubes

The Planetary series is built for high magnification with viewing comfort. Whereas classic short eyepieces force your eye against the glass, this series maintains 16 mm of eye relief: relaxed viewing, even with glasses. Five multi-coated lenses deliver the sharp, high-contrast image that lunar and planetary detail demands.

With 2.5 mm, you get extreme magnification out of short, fast telescopes such as tabletop Dobsons and compact refractors. Keep the rule of thumb of a maximum of twice the aperture in millimeters in mind: at a longer focal length, one of the longer siblings is the better choice.
