Bresser Laser collimator 1.25″: your Newton perfectly aligned in minutes

With the Bresser laser collimator, you can quickly and accurately align the mirrors of your Newtonian telescope. A well-aligned Newtonian makes the difference between a mediocre and a sharp image, especially at high magnifications on the Moon and planets. Aligning with a laser is simple: you insert the collimator into the focuser, turn on the laser, and adjust the mirrors until the red dot hits the center.

The built-in inclined projection surface makes working comfortable: you see the laser dot reappear as you turn the telescope behind the main mirror. This also allows you to collimate a large Dobson telescope on your own, without having to walk back and forth. The housing is made of anodized aluminum and is coated in matte black on the inside, and the laser itself is adjustable so that the instrument remains accurate.

Why collimate?

The mirrors of a Newton undergo transport and temperature changes. A collimation for each session costs a few minutes with a laser at most, and immediately provides noticeably more sharpness and contrast. For every Newton owner, this is therefore the first accessory to get in the house.

Featured accessories

Combine the collimator with the Bresser Plossl eyepieces to see the result immediately: a sharply aligned Newton really shows what it can do at high magnification.
