Optolong LRGB Filterset 1.25": Natural Colors with Your Monochrome Camera
A monochrome camera delivers the highest sensitivity and resolution but requires filters for color. This LRGB set contains the four filters needed for that: a luminance filter for detail and red, green, and blue for color information.
The passbands connect to each other without gaps or overlap on the main emission lines, allowing you to build a natural-looking image with short color channel exposures. The 1.25 inch version fits in any standard 1.25 inch filter wheel.

For broad-spectrum objects
LRGB is the technique for galaxies, star clusters, reflection nebulae, and star fields: objects that emit across the entire spectrum. For emission nebulae, narrowband filters (H-alpha, OIII, SII) supplement the set in the same filter wheel.

Technology
The filters are parfocal, so you barely need to refocus when switching. The luminance filter blocks UV and infrared for sharp stars. Multi-layer, ion-assisted coatings keep transmission high and the filters scratch-resistant.
Featured accessories
A five or more position filter wheel has space for this set plus a narrowband or focus filter.
