Omegon Off-Axis Guider Advanced T2: guiding through the main telescope itself
An off-axis guide replaces the separate guidecope: a small prism at the edge of the beam of light reflects a portion of the field of view onto the guide camera, while the main camera continues to record without interruption. This means that guiding and recording share the same optics, so that distortion between two tubes no longer plays a role.
Especially at long focal lengths, where a guidecope measures against differential flexure, off-axis is the more reliable route.

9 mm tiltable prism
The 9 mm prism is tiltable and the housing is rotatable, so you can find a guide star in any field without moving the composition of the main shot.
Compact and adjustable
With a minimum build length of 30 mm, the guide fits into most backfocus budgets. The 7 mm zoom focuser on the guiding port allows the guide camera to be focused parallel to the main camera.

For telescopes with a 2-inch connection, head cameras and guide cameras with a T2 connection. Calculate the build length into the working distance of your corrector.
For whom yes and for whom no

- ✓ Who wants to exclude differential flexion between the guide and the head tube
- ✓ Installations where the weight of a guidescope interferes
- ✗ Short focal point distances: a guidescope is easier there
