Omegon Red Edition Smartphone Adapter for 1.25-inch Eyepieces

Omegon Red Edition Smartphone Adapter for 1.25 inch Eyepieces: sturdy enough for sharp images

With this adapter you can attach a smartphone to a telescope eyepiece in seconds. Think of capturing the crescent moon, taking a picture of Jupiter, or letting someone look along on the screen.

The rubber 1.25-inch connection fits directly around the eyepiece, which is more stable than a clamp that grips the outside. Adjustable clamps hold phones from 47 to 75 mm wide.

Features

• Rubber 1.25 inch connection
• For smartphones from 47 to 75 mm wide
• Adjustable clamps
• Quick to install and remove

Compatibility

Photographing with a phone through an eyepiece is called afocal photography. It works well on bright objects like the moon; for faint deep-sky objects, a real astrophotography camera is needed. Stability is crucial: the less the phone moves, the sharper the image.
