ZWO Adapter for Sony DSLR lenses (M42)

The ZWO Adapter for Sony DSLR lenses (M42) allows manual Sony DSLR and E-mount lenses to be used with ZWO cameras with small sensor sizes, such as the ASI1600, ASI294, ASI183, ASI174, ASI432 and ASI585. The adapter connects via the standard M42 thread and provides a reliable and light-tight coupling.

With a back focus of 34 mm, this adapter is suitable for situations where precise distance adjustment is essential, for example, in wide-angle shooting or all-sky astrophotography. Only manual lenses are supported. Autofocus lenses or electronically controlled models are not compatible.

Sony E-mount lenses with a back focus of 18.5 mm can also be used, if fully manual. This makes this accessory particularly flexible for astrophotographers who want to use their existing Sony lenses with their ZWO setups.
