With a fast refractor, the sharpness is already affected when the temperature drops a few degrees at night. With these adapters, you can mount a ZWO EAF on a William Optics telescope, so that a focus motor takes over the adjustment for you.
The motor rotates the focus ring, controlled from your laptop or astro computer, so you can focus without touching the telescope. The mounting differs per telescope, so check carefully if the adapters are included with your William Optics model and focus ring. You can find more motors and mounting sets at Electronic focusers.
Mount the motor without tension on the shaft and after it is attached, check that the focus lever moves smoothly across the entire range. Let your software adjust automatically; that will help. a temperature sensor for the EAF to determine when that is necessary.
If you are using a Flat4 field marker, please also check the extension tube adapter for the Flat4.
