Finding the right screwdriver in the dark makes collimation a hassle. With Bob’s Knobs on your 10-inch SCT, it’s a little job you can do in between: the small screws on the secondary mirror make way for buttons that you operate manually.
This set is for 10 inch Schmidt-Cassegrains with f/10 and six screws on the secondary holder. Check the front of your tube to see how many screws there are, so you can be sure this set fits.
Replace them one by one so that the mirror does not detach. Then check the collimation on a bright star at high magnification, or with a artificial star for collimation if the air doesn't cooperate. Keep turning a little bit. You can find more background information in our guide on adjusting the telescope.
If your holder has three screws, then the 10 inch set for three screws.
