The TeleVue Filters UHC Nebustar 2″ is a premium UHC filter with a unique narrow-band transmission curve, specially developed for TeleVue. This filter increases the contrast of emission nebulae while simultaneously providing sharper and more natural star views.

The Nebustar distinguishes itself from standard UHC filters by a custom spectral transmission that further limits unwanted wavelengths.

Less star blooming, more nebula detail

Many traditional UHC filters also let through a portion of the red spectrum. The Nebustar-UHC largely blocks these red wavelengths, thereby star bloat is reduced. The result is a tighter star field and better-defined nebula structures.

At the same time, important emission lines are efficiently transmitted, allowing nebulae to stand out more clearly against a dark background.

High-quality finish and control

The filter is made of 2" aluminum vatting Fits standard 2" eyepieces and accessories with 2" filter thread. The sustainable multiple coating ensures high transmission at the desired wavelengths and protects the optical surface.

As with all Bandmate filters, each filter is optically, spectrographically, and mechanically checked to ensure consistent performance and perfect fit.

The Nebustar UHC is both visually usable as photographically usable.
