If you keep your Meade SN8 outside all year round, you want to be able to properly protect it without having to take it apart every time. The Telegizmos T3-N8 is a protective case for the Meade SN8, an 8-inch Schmidt-Newton mounted on the LXD 55 or LXD 75 mount. It is part of the 365 series, designed for outdoor installations year-round.
The LXD 55 and LXD 75 are equatorial mounts, and the cover is made for the combination of the tube and the mounting.
Measure your setup in parking position, including the viewfinder and dew cap, and compare that with the dimensions of the cover. A Schmidt-Newton has a corrector plate on the front, so also attach the dust cap there. Let the telescope dry first after a wet night before covering it up.
