Dust cover for 18 inch Dobson telescopes | Astrozap

Between two viewing sessions, you want the mirrors on your large Dobson to remain clean. This Astrozap dust cover for a 18-inch Dobson shields the optics from dust, dirt, and insects as long as the telescope is indoors, in the shed, or in an observatory.

Dobsons of 18 inches vary merk in construction, so measure the outside dimensions of the part you want to cover in advance. You can find more large models at Dobson telescopes.

The less dirt that gets on your mirrors, the less often you have to clean them, and that’s no small task with this size. Only put the cover on when the telescope is completely dry, otherwise it will retain moisture.

For other sizes there are the cover for 16 inch and the cover for 20 inch.
