If you want to see craters along the shadow border of the moon or distant details in a landscape that are larger in the image, you will be short of ten times magnification. The Bushnell PowerView 20×50 magnifies twenty times with lenses of 50 mm.
Twentieth magnification won’t keep you from being in control. Plan to set this viewer on a tripod, for example with an adapter for binoculars on a photo tripod. Please check that the adapter fits into the tripod connection of your viewfinder.
The exit pupil is 2.5 mm, so the image is somewhat darker than with a viewfinder with the same size lenses and a lower magnification. Look at the moon around the first or last quarter of the picture; the craters along the shadow border are clearly defined. In our lunar calendar You can see when that is.
If you are especially careful with your hands and want a large field of view, then a 10×50 from the same PowerView series nicer.
