With these Bresser solar viewing glasses, you can safely look directly at the sun with the naked eye. The filter material blocks 99.999% of sunlight and complies with the CE EN ISO 12312-2 standard, the only safe way to ever look directly at the sun.
This is how to observe phenomena on the sun, such as large sunspots and partial eclipses, without a telescope and without risk.

Compatibility
For naked-eye viewing only. Never use these glasses with a telescope, binoculars, or camera: the concentrated light beam will destroy the filter and permanently damage your eyes. For that purpose, there are objective solar filters that are mounted in front of the telescope opening. Check the filter for scratches or holes before each use and do not use the glasses any longer if any are found.
