A small refractor or solar telescope is often kept outside between observations or taken along in the car. A Coronado PST case like the Telegizmos TG-R2 can be put over the telescope as soon as you’re done, so dust, moisture and dirt stay outside.
The cover is intended for the Coronado PST and for Refracting telescopes With an opening of 60 to 66 mm. With a solar telescope, it is particularly convenient that the filters and optics do not get caught in the dust.
After use, let the telescope dry thoroughly before putting the cover on it. Always use the PST as intended and never look at the sun without the correct filter. How to safely observe, read here. our guide about the sun.
If you also have a slightly larger refractor of 3 inches, then there is The Telegizmos cover TG-R3.
