Set of silver snap-on inserts for Camera Quark and Scout | DayStar

If you use your Camera Quark or Scout in varying positions, you don't want to have to take out and re-insert the same socket every time. With this DayStar Camera Quark adapter set, you have extra silver insert sockets at hand. With an insert socket, also called a snout, you insert an item into a focus holder, diagonal holder, or other holder and secure it with a clamp screw or clamp ring.

First check what diameter your focus lens has or diagonal or zenith mirror Does it match these caps? Turn the clamp screw until the cap is secure, without forcing it on. Always use sunscreens as intended and never look at the sun without the full filter set-up.

With a Scout, you can more easily aim with a seeker who projects the sun.
