On a hike or trip, you sometimes want to see a bird or a facade up close, without the binoculars around your neck. A monocular is easier to carry, for example in your bag or a large shoulder bag. The Bushnell Legend monocular in beige comes from the Legend Ultra HD series, magnifies ten times and has a lens of 42 mm.
With a projection pupil of 4.2 mm (42 divided by 10), the image remains usable even in the twilight. It stands at our compact viewers for on the go. The beige color is less noticeable in nature than black.
At a magnification of ten times, you can see every movement of your hand, so find support against a tree or pole. If you don’t know which eye you use best, try both: usually one eye looks noticeably more comfortable.
The same viewer is there too in black. If you want more magnification and a larger lens, look at the Buki Expert 12×50 monocular.
