The GPM662C is a small car guidance camera featuring the Sony IMX662, a STARVIS 2 1/2.8 inch sensor with 1920 x 1080 pixels at 2.9 micrometers. The read noise starts at 0.48 electrons, so even faint stars are visible as guide stars.
Because it is a color sensor, you can also use it to photograph the moon and planets. Exposure times range from 0.1 milliseconds to 1000 seconds.
The camera has an ST4 port, so you can control the mounting directly, but it also works via USB with PHD2, N.I.N.A. and the ToupTek StellaVita. A 1.25-inch sleeve and a 5 mm adapter ring are included.
Who is this camera for?
Hello who is looking for an affordable guide camera that can occasionally take a planetary photo as well.
Not Those who want the highest sensitivity for guiding; the monochrome GPM662M captures more light.
