Bright, sharp and colorful image
The William Optics 120/780 gives you an image that looks instantly calm and natural. The triplet lens of FPL-53 and lanthanum glass keeps color errors under control, so stars remain true dots. You see binary stars separate from each other, with no ragged edges. Jupiter shows cloud bands and Saturn shows a sharp ring structure that looks like you're flying right past it. The image remains bright to the edges, so you see more detail without effort.

More light for deep objects
The large aperture lets a lot of light through. As a result, you see nebulae, galaxies and clusters with more contrast and structure. Because there is no central obstruction, the image remains purer than with many reflector telescopes. This helps you notice fine differences so you can look longer and more relaxed. Anyone who ever looks through a high-quality apochromatic will immediately notice how much tranquility such an image provides.
Ready for strong astrophotography
The 120/780 delivers a large image circle that also beautifully highlights full-frame cameras. Combined with the William Optics Flat7A, you shoot at f/5.6, allowing for shorter exposures and less noise. You screw the flattener directly onto the focuser, so the camera is firmly attached and your photos stay consistently sharp. Angles stay flat, so you spend less time in post-processing.

Accurate focusing, even on faint stars
The focuser feels smooth and responds precisely. The fine 1:10 setting helps you find sharpness down to the smallest detail. Even when using a heavy camera, the focuser remains stable. You can rotate the entire unit to neatly straighten your framing. The included Bahtinov mask makes focusing easy. The acrylic allows a lot of light to pass through, giving even faint stars a clear pattern.
Cleverly built and easy to use
The Space Gray tube feels sturdy and is designed to last for years. The integrated handle allows you to safely lift and assemble the telescope without fuss. The bag protects the tube on the go and keeps everything organized. You can easily fit accessories such as a viewfinder or guide scope via the Vixen/Skywatcher-style connector. That way you put together your setup exactly the way you want it.
