ZWO PE160 Pier Extension: 160 mm extra freedom

The PE160 elevates your ZWO AM3 or AM5 mount by 160 mm on the TC40 tripod. This may sound modest, but in practice, it precisely prevents the moment when a longer tube or camera hits the tripod leg: at low viewing angles and around the zenith.

The aluminum column screws between the mount and tripod without extra adapters and keeps the setup rigid. Especially with shorter refractors with camera setups, this extension is more of a necessity than a luxury.
