De compacte Schmidt-Cassegrain op de Advanced VX

The Celestron SC 152/1500 Advanced VX is de lichtste Schmidt-Cassegrain-combinatie op deze montering. De 152 mm SCT-optiek levert 1500 mm brandpuntsafstand in een buis van veertig centimeter: hoge vergroting voor planeten, dubbelsterren en compacte deep-sky objecten, zonder log observatoriumsysteem. Met 471 keer meer licht dan het blote oog is dit de mobielste serieuze setup uit de AVX-lijn.

Gesloten optiek, maximale scherpte

De correctieplaat sluit de buis af tegen stof en luchtstroming en de StarBright XLT-coating houdt de lichttransmissie maximaal. Realistisch bruikbaar is tot ongeveer 304x: ruim voldoende voor de Cassini-scheiding en de wolkenbanden van Jupiter bij rustige lucht. De SCT-achterzijde accepteert standaard T-adapters, reducers en camera's.

The Advanced VX: Built for Photography

De Advanced VX is een Duitse equatoriale GoTo-montering met 13,6 kg draagvermogen, NexStar+ handcontroller met ruim 40.000 objecten, All-Star Polar Alignment voor poolstellen zonder zicht op de Poolster, periodieke foutcorrectie (PPEC) en een autoguider-poort. Precies de basis die serieuze astrofotografie vraagt. De montering werkt op 12V; een powertank is de logische aanvulling.

Wel: wie één draagbaar systeem wil voor jarenlang planeetwerk, dubbelsterren en de start in fotografie. Niet: wie ruime nevelvelden wil fotograferen; kies dan de Newton 150/750 op dezelfde montering met zijn brede f/5-beeldveld.
