The Askar 160/1120 Triplet is a top-class apochromat for advanced astrophotographers and observatories. The 160 mm triplet delivers high-contrast, color-aberration-free images at a 1120 mm focal length (f/7): detailed deep-sky shots and planet images with a large image scale.

Built for a fixed setup

Clamping rings, a Losmandy dovetail, and a handle make the mount solid and repeatable on a heavy equatorial mount. The adapters for 2-inch and 1.25-inch allow for visual use in addition to photography, and the transport case protects the optics during transport. Expect a mount in the EQ6 class or higher.
