Dual camera systeem
De Dwarf 3 onderscheidt zich van andere slimme telescopen door zijn dubbele lens: een 150 mm telelens en een 6,7 mm groothoeklens. In het bekende 35mm-equivalent levert dit een perspectief op van 737 mm (3840 x 2160 resolutie) en 45 mm (1920 x 1080 resolutie). De periscoop-telelens heeft een 45,8% grotere lensopening dan de vorige generatie, wat zorgt voor aanzienlijk meer lichtopbrengst waar amateur-astrofotografen direct van profiteren. Voor breedveld opnames biedt de groothoeklens een vergelijkbaar beeldveld, dat dankzij slimme AI-software makkelijk kan worden samengevoegd tot gigapixel-panorama’s. Waar functies zoals panorama, video, astrofotografie, burst-mode en timelapse voorheen exclusief voor de telelens waren, zijn alle modi nu volledig beschikbaar op beide lenzen.

Ook overdag komt de Dwarf 3 volledig tot zijn recht dankzij de krachtige Neural Processing Unit (NPU) voor AI-objecttracking. Dieren of bewegende objecten worden automatisch herkend en dankzij de continue autofocus haarscherp gevolgd. Met één klik zoom je in zodra het onderwerp stilstaat. De groothoek- en telelens werken altijd synchroon, waardoor je in de app direct tussen beide perspectieven switcht. Zin in breedveld opnames? De panoramamodus combineert meerdere opnames tot gigapixel-composities. Dankzij de nieuwe panorama-previewfunctie bepaal je vooraf de perfecte compositie voordat de definitieve, hoge-resolutiefoto wordt gemaakt.

Met een gewicht van slechts 1,3 kg neem je de DWARF 3 moeiteloos overal mee naartoe. De telescoop wordt geleverd inclusief een op maat gemaakte, gevoerde draagtas die zowel de unit als alle accessoires optimaal beschermt tijdens transport. Veelzijdige modi voor nachtfotografie
Geniet van volledige automatisering: de Dwarf 3 compenseert de aardrotatie door objecten nauwkeurig te volgen via rotatie over de x- en y-as, ondersteund door een algoritme dat beeldveldroorzaak tegengaat. Nieuw is de EQ-modus: plaats de telescoop op een (apart verkrijgbaar) statief met pooluitlijning voor tot wel 4x langere belichtingstijden en ongekende details. De ingebouwde AI-software zorgt direct voor automatische stacking en ruisonderdrukking, en met de mozaïekfunctie maak je extra grote composities. Bewerk je liever zelf na? Exporteer je opnames dan eenvoudig als FITS, JPEG, PNG of TIFF. Voor creatieve effecten schakel je de tracking uit in de ‘Star Trail’-modus om sterrensporen boven het landschap te vangen.
Intuïtieve en slimme bediening
De Dwarf 3 blinkt uit in gebruiksvriendelijkheid. Je koppelt je smartphone of tablet razendsnel via wifi of via de gloednieuwe NFC ‘one-touch’ verbinding. De draadloze besturing verloopt soepel via de DWARFLAB-app (beschikbaar voor iOS en Android), die dankzij meertalige ondersteuning voor iedereen toegankelijk is. Het systeem herkent zelf de omgeving en schakelt automatisch tussen access point- of station-modus voor de meest stabiele verbinding. Selecteer simpelweg een object uit de database, of richt je telefoon naar de hemel en tik op het scherm om te focussen. Tijdens lange opnamesessies draait de app ongemerkt op de achtergrond, zodat je ondertussen andere dingen op je telefoon kunt doen.

Geavanceerde hardware voor astrofotografie
DwarfLab heeft de fotografische prestaties van de telescoop fundamenteel verbeterd met grotere optiek, een vernieuwde sensor en geïntegreerde filters. De telelens vangt nu maar liefst 116% meer licht op, wat samen met de Sony IMX678-sensor (uitgerust met STARVIS 2-technologie en 90,24% grotere pixels) zorgt voor een extreem lichtgevoelig beeld met minimale ruis. Naast het standaard visuele filter beschikt het apparaat over twee interne astrofotografiefilters: een Astro-filter voor infraroodrijk breedbandbeeld en een Dual-Band-filter dat specifiek OIII, H-alpha en H-beta golflengten isoleert om emissienevels prachtig naar voren te halen. Dankzij het meegeleverde zonnefilter schiet je overigens net zo gemakkelijk adembenemende plaatjes van de maan en de zon.

This Dwarf 3 is not comparable to the Dwarf 2. The results are much more contrasty, colorful and detailed because of the 35 mm Extra-Low Dispersion lens and the built-in Vis-, Astro- and Dual-band filters. The photo editing program Stellar Studio in the app. gives very good results, should you wish to use it. The Mega Stack is an amazing gadget, allowing you to merge several nights of photo sessions of the same galaxy/nebulae into one photo. Also the Mosaic setting that allows you to capture a larger area of, say, a nebulae is a very nice feature. Similarly, the ability to set up this Smart Telescope equatorially gives even better and more detailed pictures as you can then take longer shutter speeds. The “dual-native-gain” Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensor ensures that you can set a much higher Gain setting, which gives better results. And lost but not least, the service that the team of Telescoop.nl offers you, should there be any problems, is a 10 with a pin! The conclusion ... Buy this Dwarf 3 at Telescoop.nl.
