Omegon Pro APO DoubleED AP 40/180 Sixtuplet OTA 40mm Refractor: the smallest astrograph in the range

The Omegon Pro AP 40/180 Astrophotography in pocket format: six lens elements in total, a triplet objective with two ED elements plus an integrated corrector, in a tube that fits any travel tracker. The fast f/4.5 optics capture large swathes of the sky in short exposures: Milky Way fields, large nebula complexes, and bright comets.

An apochromat converges all colors to a focal point. Stars remain white and point-like, without the purple edges of simple lenses: precisely what a camera sensor would mercilessly reveal.

Made for the travel tracker

The helical focuser allows for fine, backlash-free focusing. The rotation mechanism turns your camera to the desired framing, and the M48 adapter connects directly to common camera adapters. The dew shield, Vixen-style dovetail, and tube rings are included.

Thanks to the integrated corrector, the image field is flat right away: no separate flattener, no fiddling with spacer rings.
