Tracking motor for EQ-2 and EQ-3 mounts

The Omegon Tracking Motor for EQ-2 and EQ-3 ensures that celestial objects stay in focus automatically, without you having to make manual adjustments all the time. Once the motor is connected, it compensates for the earth's rotation so you can continue to observe in a relaxed manner. This is ideal for viewing the moon, planets and bright deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula.

The tracking motor is easy to mount and immediately suitable for use on a variety of entry-level and mid-range telescopes. With the included hand controller, you easily choose between two speeds (2x or 8x) for precise centering of objects. A pause button helps with precise positioning in the field of view.

Thanks to the switch for northern or southern hemisphere, the motor can be used worldwide. Operation is easy, even with gloves on during cold nights.

Observation goals
