TeleVue Imaging System 9.5mm - Extension Tube
This 9.5 mm extension is designed for the TeleVue Imaging System and ensures the correct distance between the field lens and the CCD chip of your camera. In astrophotography, accurate backfocus is crucial for a well-corrected and sharp image across the entire field.
With this spacer ring, you add exactly 9.5 mm to your optical train, so that you have the prescribed configuration 2.4" system correct can be realized.

Exact distance for optimal field correction
Field correctors and flatteners only perform optimally at the correct sensor distance. A deviation of a few millimeters can already be visible in the corners of the image. This extension piece helps you to precisely adjust the total optical distance.
The ring is black anodized to minimize internal reflections and prevent contrast loss. It is a purely mechanical component with no optical elements.

Suitable for 2.4″ focusers
This extension is compatible with the TeleVue 2.4" system and connect to corresponding 2.4″ focusers in adapters within this ecosystem.
