Sky-Watcher WAVE Carbon Fiber Tripod: light, rigid and made for the WAVE series
This carbon tripod is designed for the WAVE-100i and WAVE-150i strainwave mounts. The carbon material keeps the weight at just 2.4 kg, while the 40 mm legs remain torsionally rigid. Vibrations dampen quickly so that your image remains sharp during observation and photography.
You attach the mounting head using the 3/8-inch screw, which, with optional adapters, also makes the tripod suitable for the Star Adventurer 2i, Star Adventurer GTi, and AZ-GTi, among others. With a load capacity of 20 kg, there is plenty of margin for any WAVE setup. The height is adjustable from 50.0 to 74.7 cm; an optional column extension increases the working height.
