iOptron Pier Extension for CEM26/HEM27/GEM28/HAE29 Mounts: 14 cm Silver Extension for Compact Mounts

This 14 cm high MiniPier fits between the tripod and mount for the CEM26, HEM27, GEM28, and HAE29. The extension gives the telescope and camera free space around the tripod legs, especially when pointing near the zenith.

The compact size keeps the setup low enough for maximum stability and therefore also fits well with travel setups.

Small height difference, big difference in use

Fourteen centimeters is just enough to prevent collisions between the camera and tripod legs without unnecessarily raising the center of gravity.

Assembly proceeds with the standard attachment of the mentioned mounts; tools are hardly needed.
