Sky-Watcher SolarQuest: the mount that finds the sun by itself
The SolarQuest is built for one task and does it fully automatically: finding and tracking the sun. Thanks to HelioFind technology, the mount uses GPS and time to calculate the exact position of the sun, points the telescope to the correct altitude and azimuth, and tracks the sun all day long. This way, you won't miss a single detail of sunspots or planetary transits, without having to aim yourself.

Important: use the SolarQuest exclusively with a solar telescope or with a telescope equipped with a certified front solar filter. The mount carries up to 4 kg and moves quietly, keeping your image vibration-free. Eight AA batteries supply the power. This item concerns only the head; it fits on a tripod with a 3/8-inch connection.
Included
- SolarQuest mounting head with HelioFind and GPS
- Vixen-style dovetail clamp
