William Optics 90°, 1.25″ Dura Bright Zenith Mirror: 99%—your light, delivered in perfect condition
The William Optics Dura Bright is a top-of-the-line 1.25-inch zenith mirror. The dielectric coating reflects 99.1% of the light: virtually all the light your telescope captures reaches your eye. This is reflected in brightness and contrast, especially when observing planets, close binary stars, and at high magnifications.
The mirror itself is 12 mm thick and polished to 1/10 wave accuracy: rigid and pure, without distortion during temperature changes. The housing with carbon fiber side plates is light and stiff, and the compression ring clamps your eyepiece all around and scratch-free.

Why a better diagonal pays off
The diagonal is part of every optical path. A standard mirror with 90% reflectivity and moderate flatness compromises light transmission and sharpness on every eyepiece you own; a high-quality diagonal restores that performance to your entire set of eyepieces.
For whom yes and for whom no
- ✓ Observers with a refractor or catadiopter who want to get the most out of their optics
- ✓ High magnification planet and double star observers
- ✗ Who has a 2-inch eyepiece holder: choose the 2-inch Dura Bright
