Six-inch wide-field: four-lens, fast, and color-pure!

The Bresser AC 152S/760 AR-152S is the big brother of the 127/635: a six-inch aperture in a four-lens f/5 design. The extra lenses keep chromatic aberration to a minimum and improve photographic correction, allowing this short tube to render large nebulae fields brightly and cleanly.

Four lens 6-inch achromat

The 152 mm lens gathers about 472 times more light than the naked eye. With the 26 mm eyepiece, you view at 29x with a wide field of view: the domain of open star clusters, the Andromeda Galaxy, and large gas nebulae. Keep about 300x as the theoretical maximum; the focus lies at low and medium magnification.

Which mount fits this?

Short but sturdy: the Bresser EXOS-2/EQ-5 mount on tripod (539 euros) is the minimum, the Bresser EXOS-2 EQ GoTo mount (998 euros) the recommended basis for photography with the included T2 adapter. Via the Vixen-style dovetail, the tube fits on any mount with a standard Vixen clamp.
