Omegon 2-inch Twist-Lock Adapter for SC thread: a fully functional 2-inch holder on your Schmidt-Cassegrain

This adapter threads onto the SC thread of a Schmidt-Cassegrain, creating a 2-inch eyepiece holder with a twist-lock clamping mechanism. This allows you to use large 2-inch eyepieces and heavy star diagonals directly on the SC, securely and self-centeringly clamped.

The twist-lock secures the accessory all the way around instead of with a set screw. With the weight of a 2-inch star diagonal and eyepiece, that is the difference between a springy and a rigid connection.
