Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i WiFi Pro Pack: the complete tracker for camera and mini-telescope

The Star Adventurer 2i is the worldwide standard for portable astrophotography with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. This 2i version combines the proven design with Wi-Fi control via the free Star Adventurer app for iOS and Android. With a load capacity of up to 5 kg, it carries everything from a wide-angle lens to a lightweight telescope tube like a 61 or 72mm APO.

This is the Pro Pack, the most complete version. In addition to the tracker head with illuminated polar finder, the set includes the equatorial wedge (latitude base) for precise polar alignment, the declination bracket with fine adjustment, a counterweight set for heavier lenses and small telescopes, and the ball head adapter for free framing with a ball head. You can mount the whole thing on any tripod with a 1/4 or 3/8 inch connection.

Hours of photography on AA batteries

Four AA batteries provide up to 72 hours of use time; power via mini-USB is also possible. The built-in tracking motor features sidereal, lunar, and solar speeds plus timelapse programs, and the SNAP port automatically controls your camera's shutter.

Suitable for: night landscape and Milky Way photographers, and beginning deep-sky photographers with a camera and (tele)lens or a very fast APO. Not suitable for: those who want GoTo or who carry telescopes heavier than 5 kg. If that's you, consider the Star Adventurer GTi or the EQ-AL55i.
