The ZWO PE200 Pier Extension provides 200 mm extra height for your ZWO AM5 or AM3 mount in combination with the ZWO TC40 tripod. This sturdy aluminum column gives your telescope more clearance, prevents collisions with the tripod and provides better balance especially with larger or longer tubes.
The PE200 is a logical upgrade for users who often work under low sky conditions or use a Newton or refractor telescope with longer tube lengths. The extra height allows you to move your telescope more freely, significantly improving the user experience.
The pier attaches directly between the mount and the tripod via standard screw connections. The assembly remains lightweight, sturdy and stable, so it fits perfectly within a mobile astrophotography setup.
