The Omegon Pro PD80 three-way head is an extremely stable and precise panorama head for large binoculars, spotting scopes and cameras. This head is designed for users with higher demands on stability, carrying capacity and precision. With a load capacity of up to 10 kg, the PD80 provides an extremely solid base for heavy optical instruments and demanding observations.

Designed for relaxed and stable observing
Many vibrations while observing are caused by an insufficiently stable tripod head. The Omegon PD80 avoids this problem due to its robust construction and smooth mechanics. Even with large binoculars or heavy spotting scopes, the image remains calm and stable. This allows you to observe for long periods without frustration and with maximum viewing comfort.

Movable in all directions
Thanks to the ergonomic control levers, you maintain full control no matter what the conditions. Whether wearing gloves in winter or in summer temperatures, the PD80 works just as comfortably. The head is 360° rotatable and fully tiltable to the zenith position, making it suitable for nature observation, bird watching as well as astronomical use.

Quick release plate for safe and quick mounting
The large quick-release plate provides space to securely mount your camera, binoculars or spotting scope with the standard 1/4″ screw. Once you slide the plate onto the panorama head, a locking pin provides additional security. The side clamping screw fully fixes your instrument so it stays perfectly in place during observations.

Precision for panoramic photography
The PD80 is not only an observation head, but also an excellent choice for panoramic photography. Thanks to the integrated spirit levels, the sliding quick release plate (for setting the nodal point) and the clear 360° panorama scale, you will effortlessly create precise and even panorama sequences.
