Four directions, finely adjustable

You adjust the polar height and azimuth separately with fine adjustment, and then lock them. This eliminates one of the biggest sources of error in astrophotography: a one-degree alignment error directly costs you sharpness with long exposures.

Reading and leveling

The laser-engraved height scale allows you to set your location's latitude, and the integrated spirit level ensures you start from a flat base. Without a spirit level, the scale reading will be inaccurate.

Connections

The wedge has a 3/8 inch tripod mount and a 55 mm Vixen dovetail on top, which is the exact size the MiniTrack needs.
