The Skywatcher EQ6 V5 SynScan PRO upgrade kit turns your existing EQ6 mount into a full-fledged GoTo device. Even as a beginner, you'll quickly find stars, planets and nebulae. Select an object via the LCD screen and your mount automatically moves to the correct point in the sky.
Extensive object database
The manual contains more than 42,900 objects, including complete Messier, NGC and IC catalogs. You can save up to 25 of your own favorite positions so you can quickly find your discoveries.
Accurate and fast
With a positioning accuracy of 1 arc minute, you'll have almost any object in view instantly. The motors steer at up to 3.4° per second, so you won't have to wait long. The PEC software corrects mechanical errors and keeps your image stable, ideal for astrophotography.
Flexible and future-proof
You can set the tracking speed from 0.25x to 1x and the motor speed from 2x to 800x. SynScan hand controller supports software updates via PC and Internet. Auto Guider connection available for accurate tracking.
Complete delivery
The kit includes DEC and RA motors, the SynScan hand controller, all necessary cables and tools, RS-232 cable for updates and an English manual. Please note that power supply of at least 12 V / 2 A is required.
