Sky-Watcher 21.5 cm Extension Tube – 3/8 inch Connection

Place this aluminum half-column between your tripod and mount head. The extra 21.5 cm raises the head above the tripod legs, allowing you to observe objects directly overhead without the tube or camera touching a leg. This makes observing much more comfortable, especially with refractors and trackers.

The pillar has a 3/8-inch connection on both sides (male and female) and therefore fits between any tripod and any head with a photo thread, such as the AZ-5, AZ-GTi, and Star Adventurer series. The aluminum keeps the weight low without sacrificing rigidity.
