Compact Cassegrain for moon and planets

The Sky-Watcher Heritage-100P is a compact Cassegrain telescope with a clever combination of primary and secondary mirror and a small corrector lens. This arrangement gives a long focal length in a small tube. This allows you to see the Moon and planets sharp and contrasty. You can also view binary stars and fine lunar surface details. Earth observations are also possible, for example birds and landscapes.

Virtuoso GTi mount with smart controls

The Virtuoso GTi automatically moves the telescope to the object you choose. Then it follows it automatically. Thanks to Wi-Fi, you connect your smartphone wirelessly via the free SynScan app. You don't need internet to operate it. A Freedom-Find™ Dual-Encoder lets you move the telescope manually without losing position data. So you can slew quickly and save power.

Flexible on table or tripod

The tabletop tripod has a 3/8″ thread so you can place it on a normal tripod. You easily clamp the telescope with a Vixen swallowtail, so other optics fit as well. This makes the KC 100/1000 very flexible: balcony, garden or park, anything is possible.
