Optolong L-eNhance APS-C EOS Clip filter: Deep-sky astrophotography with your color camera
The L-eNhance brought narrowband photography within reach of color cameras and is still one of the most popular nebula filters. Through two passbands, the filter lets through three emission lines: H-beta and OIII in a combined band of 24 nm, and H-alpha in a band of 10 nm. All other light, including street lighting, is blocked.
The result: emission nebulae emerge with surprising contrast from a single series of shots, even under a heavily light-polluted sky. As a clip filter for Canon EOS APS-C, it sits directly in front of the sensor.

Who is L-eNhance for?
This is the entry-level filter in the L-series for nebula photography with a color camera or astro-modified DSLR. If you want narrower later on, the L-eXtreme (7 nm) and L-Ultimate (3 nm) are the next steps.

Technology
The optical glass is multi-coated with ion-assisted deposition: scratch-resistant, temperature-stable, and with high transmission at the emission lines.

Clip montage
The filter clicks into the camera body in front of the sensor, so every lens and telescope adapter remains usable. Note: EF-S lenses do not fit when used with a clip filter.
