Artesky Adapter Twist Lock 2 inch: scratch-free clamping, precisely centered

The Artesky Twist Lock 2-inch adapter replaces the standard eyepiece clamp in the focuser of Sky-Watcher Newtonians. Instead of thumbscrews, you use a twist lock: it clamps 50.8 mm (2-inch) eyepieces and correctors all around, securely but without scratches, play, or tilting.

The short design keeps the optical path length limited, which is exactly what you want for astrophotography with a coma corrector that needs to be at a fixed distance from the sensor.

Made for comma correctors

Artesky recommends this twist lock in combination with, among others, the Sky-Watcher f/4 and f/5 coma correctors, the Baader MPCC MKIII, the Artesky 0.95x, and correctors from Sharpstar and Omegon. The twist lock centers the corrector exactly in the optical axis, which is directly visible in the corner sharpness of your images.

Developed for Sky-Watcher Newtonians with the corresponding focuser thread, including the 150PDS, 200PDS, 250PDS, 300PDS and the Quattro series (8S, 10S and 12S).

Featured accessories

If you also use the telescope visually, then 2-inch eyepieces benefit just as much from the centering and scratch-free clamping of the twist-lock.
