The Omegon Camera veTEC 571 C Color is designed for astrophotographers who want to combine high detail and a large field of view. The Sony IMX571 sensor gives you 26 megapixels and high quantum efficiency, making this camera excellent for deep-sky photography.
The cooling can cool back to 35 °C below ambient temperature and provides images with very low noise, even at long exposures. The back-illuminated sensor is virtually amp-glow-free and delivers sharp, high-contrast images of nebulae and galaxies. Because this version is a color sensor, you capture RGB images directly without filter wheels.
Thanks to the built-in USB hub, an accessory, such as a guiding camera or focuser, can be connected directly. This reduces the number of loose cables. The camera fits all common telescopes thanks to its T2 and 2” connector.
