Omegon Flexible Dew Shield 4 inch (115 to 135 mm): prevent condensation on 4-inch optics

A perfectly aligned telescope is worthless once the optics fog up. This flexible dew shield extends the tube past the lens or corrector plate, causing it to lose less heat to the open sky and condensation to occur much later or not at all.

Velvet on the inside

The interior is lined with black velvet. This suppresses stray light from streetlights and the moon, and at the same time slows down the cooling of the optics. So, a double win: more contrast and less dew.

Rollable and adjustable

The flexible plastic can be rolled up, allowing the dew shield to pack compactly in your suitcase. The adjustable Velcro closure secures it firmly around the optical tube without scratching and accommodates small differences in diameter.
