TeleVue Imaging System 6.4 mm - extension tube
This 6.4 mm extension is developed for the TeleVue Imaging System and ensures the correct distance between the field lens and the CCD chip of your camera. Correct backfocus is essential for optimal field correction and image sharpness in astrophotography.
With this spacer ring, you can accurately configure the optical train at the prescribed distance, especially when using the TeleVue 2.4" system.

Precise focusing for astrophotography
When using field correctors or flatteners, the exact distance to the sensor is crucial. Deviations of a few millimeters can already impact edge correction. This extension piece adds exactly 6.4 mm ready for your optical configuration.
The ring is black anodized to minimize internal reflections and prevent contrast loss. It is a purely mechanical component with no optical elements.

Compatible with 2.4″ focusers
This extension is suitable for the TeleVue 2.4" system and connect to compatible 2.4″ focusers and associated adapters within this system.
